Hi! My name is Luke Schumaker, and I'm the MASTERMIND behind LJFilms!
My mission in filming weddings is to capture authentic moments and tell a love story for couples to look back on for the rest of their lives.
I started my wedding filmmaking journey in 2021 and have been loving this job ever since!
I'm currently a student at Spring Arbor University, studying Digital Comm & Marketing with an endorsement in Video & Film Production.
I love Jesus, I love nature, and I want to live and capture every moment like it was my last.

How will I receive my Videos?
I deliver my films through a platform called VidFlow. VidFlow gives me the freedom to deliver my films in a creative and professional manner by creating a unique gallery just for you. Your gallery will include each of the films provided in your package and any other ad-ons you purchased as well.
What will my Highlight Film look like?
I'm not a huge fan of the over-the-top and heavily edited videos. I like to keep it modest and keep your highlight film real. I keep the events of the day in an orderly style while keeping it fresh, exciting, and emotional. I will tell your story using highlights from the speeches, toasts, and ceremony; however, if you'd like separate films for the entire ceremony and/or speeches, you will need to purchase ad-ons. Your day will set the tone for the film.
When will my Films be delivered?
I do my best to edit and deliver your films as soon as possible; however, I am human. I don't like to rush projects for an okay result. I strive to create great films for all of my couples. I want to make sure to give myself enough time to edit and perfect your film. You will receive all of your edited films and videos within 90 days of the event.
Can you capture the entire Ceremony and/or Speeches?
Yes! I offer add-ons for full coverage of the full ceremony and/or speeches. For the ceremony, being a one-man team, I can't promise a full cinematic production. It will be one angle filming continuously from the back while I capture other angles with my 2nd camera. Photographers and myself may be passing in front of the camera from time to time. As for the speeches, there will also be one continuous angle for every speech. If either or both of these are purchased, they will be delivered as a separate video In your gallery.

Inquire
Fill out basic info about when and where your big day will be. Tell me what you're looking for in your wedding film. Then I will follow up with an email and we will set up a time for a call.
Consultation
During the consultation, we will hop on a phone or Zoom call so I can get to know you! I will also answer any questions you may have and I will let you know what to expect when booking with LJFilms!
Book!
Once you and your partner are on board, I will send you my contract and you will pay the first downpayment of 50%.
The rest will be due 7 days prior to the event. I will then stay in touch with you about more specific details closer to the event through text or email.
